Very good processor, very good drives (though both are good, the 1TB is faster than the 500GB). Your RAM speed and amount is perfectly fine for most tasks.
Your GPU isn't horrendous in the overall scheme of things (it's faster than an APU), but if you want to do any gaming it could use an upgrade.

He isn't desperate for more RAM. I have a few Chrome windows open, I'm torrenting at full speed, I'm encoding a 1080p video, and I have a 1080p video up in MPC-HC with madVR (which is like 600MB), and I'm at 4.8GB used on Windows 10.

He may run into limitations if he wants a hundred Chrome windows open, and there are a few games that really want 8, but 6GB is not desperately in need of an upgrade.
