hi /g/
so
I've got a Galaxy S6. I got it back iun January. Now, all is fine and dandy with the phone, except for one thing; the screen is almost a third of different shades of purple. The problem started back in...early March? It was just a teeny tiny spot in the upper-right hand corner of the screen, and has been spreading across in all directions since then.
I come to you seeking advice. Should I call Samsung and ask for some way to send this phone in and get a replacement? The screen going to shit is in no way my fault, as I recall dropping the phone once, which cracked the screen protector, but that was AFTER this purple shit has started happening.
Also, I am aware that rooting my phone voids warranty, but is there any way to revert it completely back to stock? I had to do that once when I fucked up rooting the phone, causing it to get stuck in a bootloop. Has to completely delete/wipe/erase everything with every option Odin had available, but it has been function just fine since flashing a stock 6.0.1 ROM.
I'd appreciate any advice/information as to how I should go about this because I can't really afford to get a new phone right now, and I plan on switching to GoogleFi as soon as I get some extra cash together for a 6P/whatever the new Nexus phone is by time time I have $$ scraped together.
I thank you all preemptively for your help.

Why are you asking for help about how to deal with tech support here? The majority of /g/ despises tech support and consequently don't use it.

Order new screen, replace it yourself.

i was assuming that someone may have had a similar issue and could offer advice/recommendations as to what to do

i don't have the money to get a new phone, let alone parts/tools to do it myself.
if i had any form of disposable income, I would have done this already.

Take a temporary loan to buy a replacement screen, fix the phone, sell it for higher price and use the money to pay the loan back and buy a cheaper phone to replace it.

do you think it'd be a better idea to post there?
i actually didn't even think of that.

That seems overly convoluted, but I guess this could theoretically help me build my credit.

How much do you think I could get for a gently used S6?
It's had a screen protector on the front since I got it, and only a couple of minor marks on the back that i MAY be able to buff out.
Where would I sell it? eBay?

I don't live in the US, so I don't know.

Why don't you just ask them?

Just look it up on your own.
