First system Build

Pic related is my first build, getting ready to order parts soon.
GPU is missing because I can't decide on a 480 (if Radeon unfucks it) or something a little more expensive.

Comments/Criticism? It is a budget build, shooting for $700-$750 right now and all my accessories are scavenged.

I know that my mobo will need a BIOS update before anything to make sure to resolve some issues with Haswell CPUs (thanks for the heads-up PCPP) but otherwise I didn't think there'd be any issues.
What all do you use your PC for? I don't plan to do anything very intensive at the moment.

PCPP says the I5-6500 is incompatible with my RAM, since it exceeds the maximum voltage. Plus I'll have to hunt another mobo down. So unless the 6500 is going to have notable effects on my build's ability to access the internet, shitpost, and run mid-range games, I'll pass for now.

Sorry for the late reply. I use if for daily browsing, media, photo editing I need to in photoshop, torrenting sometimes, and gaymen (GPU: GTX 960). It's fast and works great for my needs, I've used it with some Linux distros also, using wangblows atm though.

My first build is my current build. Was given to me a few years back. Finally getting around to upgrading it.

The only person upset here is you, I just can't be bothered going for 10% more optimized tech and having to restructure my build when I'm not intending to use this computer for anything even remotely intensive.
That being said, if you have a recommended mobo and RAM solution that doesn't blow the doors off the $275 my setup is going to run, feel free to share

Cool, sounds about what I'd use it for.

I haven't build a pc, still using a prebuilt from 2011. (The only thing I did to upgrade it was add an ssd.) Best $40 I've spent on it.
