Never had to worry about after market coolers on all my over clocked cpu for the last ten years. Everything from an athlon 2800 getting a few extra hundred mhz to an e6300 going above 3.6 ghz. Stock coolers were now than enough. Ambient air temperature was always fine with decent case ventilation. That was until I bought an amd 290x. Jesus three fans on an 11 inch card and it needed every one.
