ADC's forums are pretty dead, and the invite forum is deader. There's pretty much no official recruiters. No one's even put up an AB invite thread there. It's mostly just the place to get into U2, and that's worth it.
You are going to want more than 35GB down to get into U2, since nobody's gonna give you an invite if you're not going to use it, and 35GB is nowhere near "using" either ADC or U2. I have 1.3TB down on ADC in 2 years -- probably over 2TB raw. And 2.6TB raw download on U2 in a year.

You need to either set the router to not keep connections alive for too long as well as tell the client not to make too many connections.

If you are seeding 1000 torrents and you think you need 1000 global connections with 100 connections per torrent, you are fucking stupid and you should reduce that to 200 global and 20 per.

Your connection is obviously too fast for that router to keep up with when it comes to p2p, so you need to bottleneck the client and the router by looking at all the connection settings on both the client and the router.

You can torrent with that router, but you can't torrent with it if you are being retarded and not accepting that it can't handle all the connections it can now make with that new speed.

How to get snatches on BTN?

I've had access to private trackers and a seedbox for years but I barely used it. I was usually too lazy to download anything from the box. If I'd just download the torrent locally I wouldn't bother copying it to a USB drive or something to watch on one of my devices. What changed this recently was setting up Kodi to stream from my box over https. The only hurdle now is having to occasionally ssh in to unrar shit. Grabbing full seasons of TV shows from BTN and being able to just start watching it right when it finishes on the box is great though.

Anyone else use a setup like this?

Just a reminder about the WCD interview, yes they MIGHT check the logs to see if you're reading notes, but this won't actually happen unless you're unlucky. Just load up every page on a separate computer. You shouldn't need it, it's not hard, but it's worth having there anyway.

I was on OiNK since 2005, WCD since 2008, most other relevant trackers since about 2010. If there were an interview option in those days I would've taken it every single time, it's so much easier. Also I'd be pure. At this point it's arguably irrelevant, I'm clearly safe after all of these years, but I would be 100% safe and not have to talk to anyone at all. The best way to be on private trackers is to be as anonymous as possible. Some people only contact admins to request invites and that's it. That's the way to be. Everything else can be problematic.

I was the same. Except I lost a few what.cd accounts along the way due to bad behavior. My current one is okay though. When you move around as much as I do it's easy to just start all over again on a tracker without someone suspecting something.

I'm not paranoid because my level of actual uploading activity is very low. It wasn't always that way. I used to run a scene group in the old days. I became a top uploader at a more niche tracker uploading lots of pre release material. I wasn't even paranoid then because the chances of people involved in smaller record labels figuring out who I am and bringing a case against me internationally are so fucking slim.

I still communicate with people on both sides over IRC, with FiSH of course. I help them with their work more than I actually contribute anything. I don't have to do anything anymore except pay my seedbox bill. Once your foot is already in the door there's nothing more to really do.

This is why I liked the scene better than private torrents. On torrents you can work and work but at some point if you just stop your level of reward is equal to what you'd get if you just did nothing. Also if you are on a ratio tracker and don't have a seedbox you can contribute all kinds of shit, spend money and time on contributing new content, and you still get less reward than someone that does have a seedbox. This is why I think ratioless trackers are superior.

In the scene it was about competition and having a tight group of like minded friends to chat with. It's much more comfy than trackers.
