HDMI cannot drive multiple displays from the one port. GPU manufacturers design their GPU's with HDMI, DVI, VGA being legacy ports and that is why for 3 monitors or more DisplayPort is required. HDMI uses the same controllers as DVI/VGA on the chip.

Stay mad normie peasant. How does it feel to get onboard HDMI only to realise it's a legacy port now?

Can you argue without that shit?

True. HDMI is idiocy.
And its only used on TV's anyways, so it's just SCART. And who would put a SCART port in a PC?

DP or VGA, all else can fuck off.

B-but senpai, i love my dvi connected monitors :^((((((
>>
>plug your monitor with any connector you have
>it works
Why do you care more than that?
>>

DP or GTFO
>>
>>55407678
Well it is. The only drawback of DP is the lack of backwards compatibility.

Could you split a DVI-I connector and drive a VGA and DVI monitor at the same time?
>>
DisplayPort is the successor to DVI, just as DVI was to VGA.

fuck off with this legacy bullshit. you can always get an adapter.
>>
>>55409114
that part is illegal!!
>>
>>55409250
No thanks, I'd rather have a direct connection, so would a lot of other people who use dual dvi. All of us korean monitor users love our dual dvi :^)

Why putting a vga port when passive dvi adapters exist?
