Given a text file with a list of absolute paths to mp3 files, is it possible to play them using vlc in linux? Or any other player, doesn't have to be vlc.

I think most take that kind of input.
just start it with that list as arguments
yes. I don't use vlc, but even if a program doesn't accept playlists, you can usexargs -a (playlist-file) (program)
Found the solution guys:
1)File must be saved with .m3u extension - WTF I thought linux didn't care about file extensions
2)Do not escape spaces in file paths - again WTF
Tested and working on vlc. Took me a few hours though. Counterintiutive AF.

mpv --playlist muzic
iirc

Linux doesn't care about file extensions, it looks like it's VLC that does.
Also it isn't counterintuitive to not escape spaces there - it isn't a shellscript.
