I didn't have any problems with mine, but it was also a brand new shark card. I'd recommend just backing up the card to your computer, using the redmi 3 to format it, and putting everything back.

My S4 is dying and I don't want to spend a billion dollars on a V10 or S7. I mostly use my phone for browsing and manga so gaming or synthetic benchmarks don't matter to me as long as the phone doesn't feel like its from the ICS era.

Recently, I've bought my first Chinkphone, and I gotta say, it's not too bad.

So after much researching and /csg/, I managed to find something decent, for my budget of £80 - The Kingzone N5.

Pros:

>Nice Buttons
>Still Camera isn't completely shit
>Android 5.1
>Doesn't look too cheap (imo)
>LTE (I'm a UKfag so it works out fine in terms of bands)
>Replaceable battery
>5" screen
>Expandable Memory up to 64GB
Cons:
>Stock ROM has adware in Launcher3
>Battery life is questionable, although this may be due to rooting?
>No plans for 6.0, or Marshmallow Custom Roms
>Took fucking ages to arrive


Bought it at a risk, as I've seen videos online where's the screen comes shipped with issues, thankfully mine did okay.

Just wondering if maybe this'll be good for people on a budget, just might be worth consideration is all, I'm pretty damn happy with it.

Has anyone ordered smart watches?

My understanding is, and please correct me if I am wrong, that there are probably a couple of manufacturers with their own brands. I have only looked at the following:

King Wear (http://kingwear.manufacturer.globalsources.com/)

They produce models like GT08, GT88, KW18, others...
And their top of the line model will be coming out soon: KW88

The technology in these are the Mediatek MT???? type chips. The screen resolutions change from nothing (just a sensor) to 400x400. A 480x480 screen has been advertised, but has not been used in a final product yet.

- they work on their own as a phone with a SIM card,

iOS has very little support from the cheaper watches. Functionality may be partial in some models.

The BT Notification app is apparently a mess, there are multiple versions, and some work with some models but not with others.

There's also a Mediatek smartdevice app, but I don't know how it works or what it actually does.
