and I havent had to reboot my computer in a long time due to updates, so it's probably defering them that's doing it

Sorry for the poor resolution, the monitor attached to this PC is only 1080p. In the previous scrot you can see I have selected the defer upgrade option yet I still get updates almost every day

Looking into it further, Windows Defender just has new definitions every day or something. It's working as intended. Still have to reboot once every 2 weeks or so which is annoying. I go to use some service this machine provides only to find my shit has rebooted

This worked when I tried 10 to get my digital entitlement. It notified me updates were available to download for 3-4 days without actually forcing me to install them. I eventually downloaded them by choice so don't know how long I could've waited.

The automatic restarts or whatever only happen to people who too stupid to do a bit of problem solving.

This is why I've stuck with Novell 3.12 to avoid all this malware.

The Apple MacBook Pro with Retina Display doesn't have this problem.
