Can you imagine the shitstorm that would ensue if it turned that NVIDIA was basically releasing an overclocked GTX 980 gimped with 3GB VRAM and calling it the GTX 1060?
It would still be faster than the RX 480 and would cost them practically nothing to do.
New node's gonna be cheaper and Nvidia obviously has the performance sorted, so I can't see Nvidia sticking with 28nm any longer.
