You did absolutely no research before coming here, Jesus
It would have actually been faster to search something like "how to use Linux and Google on the same computer"
Or to read the pinned post and realize that this isn't a tech support board
I honestly hope you don't figure out how to do it because then you'll just ask questions here instead of learning on your own

>how to uss linux and google on the same computer
I dunno about u anon but not only do i run google and GNU/linux on the same computer, I actually run google ON GNU/linux!

what does this even mean
>>
>>55329468
I suggest buying an old thinkpad and just fucking with it. You can get an x200 for under 100$.
>>
>>55329468
Download Linux Live USB Creator (LiLi). Use it to make a Linux live USB with persistent storage. Then you can boot off the flash drive and it won't impact your main OS at all. If you mess something up, you can just make a new live USB.

use vmware or virtualbox (or virtual pc ms bought it from connectix)

Many have tried, but none have succeeded. I'm sorry, anon. It's just not meant to be.
>>
>>55329468
Sure man, just run your head into a wall repeatedly. 7-10 times and you will be in Linux mode. Then turn off the lights and cook a gourmet meal in the dark. That will be when the Linux is just right. After that, all that is left to do is get a friend to drop something heavy on your nuts from a great height. That will be the Linux you feel after that.

Pretty simple really.
>>
>find 8gb+ zip disquette
>run it through any program that makes bootable USB steaks
>find ubuntu .iso file
>put contents of iso on to youesbee stik
>plug into computer
>boot from the flash drive
>install it alongside windows if you feel like it, its in the install options

or, if you are lazy as shit
>buy this

Linux, as in, what exactly? What do you imagine "Linux" is?
>>
>>55330633
>>55331283
The Linux kernel uses Google Play Services.
>>
Dual-Boot

I recommend GNU/Google if you want a beginner friendly distro
>>
>>55331542
You almost got me.
>>
>>55329468
If you can't even figure this out then don't bother with Linux.
>>
>>55329480
They're called "Live CDs, Live DVDs, and Live Distros" and you should go to DistroWatch.com to familiarize yourself with the current news and make your decision based on that.

Since you're an obvious noob, I recommend LinuxMint, because it will wet your feet without causing you harm.

>>55329532
This post is obvious bait.

>>55330411
What? No, usually it doesn't. Using Mint as the obvious example, you have change your default search engine in Firefox to Google.
>>
Just go install Linux Mint. It will automatically configure your bootloader for you. At boot, you will have the option to choose between Linux and Windows.
>>
>>55334419
Oh, but pay attention to the formatting options when you install. You need to have a partition just for Linux. If you only have one partition, you're kinda screwed because repartitioning a system drive in use is dicey.

Please don't reproduce
I met many retarded people in my years on this site but you easily made it into the top 10 with this

You actually don't understand shit, so please let me give you this one advice, and please take it:
You are horribly stupid and it hurts, don't ever try to spread the shit you believe to know about anything ever again.

Now please try to think about the shit you're telling us here for at least 5 minutes and maybe you find the giant flaws in your logic all by yourself.
No one is here to give you private lessons. Maybe google "how to install Linux without replacing windows".
If you still don't get it then, just kill yourself
