If you have a 1080p 75hz lcd monitor (the generic monitor the majority of people) than basically all you can ask for from a graphics card is reaching that 60 fps treshold and maintaining it. Anything in the 70 fps range will suffice.

The rx480 is 1080p gpu, so is the 970, that is it. Unless you are willing to play on medium settings, than 2k/4k is barred from you.
