Very few normies will be using ye olde insecure wank (can't remember, haven't read about this for a while) so social engineering is your best bet. This is true in most "hacking" scenarios, but there's still a chance you'll get nothing. A slim chance in this case, though; I don't know a single person who doesn't use the default password.

Identifiable SSIDs might lead to a router model with vulnerabilities. Just look for easy exploits if they exist, don't try to reinvent the wheel. Also, others are right and the bottom of the router is a good spot. I once reset a router and set it up freshly with a new pass word and the owner didn't notice. They just checked under the thing for where I put the new password when their wifi stopped working. kek. You need physical access for that though
