Ordered two spare quadcopter batteries for $14.

Sanrenmu 7010 arrived, I'm no knife expert but it seems about as good as a £18 knife I got off Heinnies. Came sharp and has a good edge.

Only drawback is that the knife stinks like sour playdough but I've found that similar stink on everything from Gearbest. Their warehouse must stink really badly.

My adjustable power supply kit I mentioned in an earlier thread arrived.
Here you can see it:
- in its original form
- after I soldered it together
- in action connected to a chink voltmeter/ammeter module driving a small chink water pump
- current limiting in action with a chink usb led thing (would otherwise be 200mA@5V)

I'm using an old transformer I had lying around to connect it to mains, unfortunately it's just 12V instead of the 24V the kit is designed for.
I pushed it to well over 3A at 5V with a big fat motor, which it managed to hold stable until I unplugged it when smoke came out of the big transistor.
Gonna get a decent heatsink for it, some caps for the pots, and some banana plug sockets to replace that awful screw terminal.

Fun to assemble and play around with and seems useful enough for the low voltage stuff I do but doesn't replace a real lab power supply of course.
