I got a sweet deal on a G-sync monitor, it's definitely worth it if you can get a G-sync monitor for not much more than the cost of an otherwise equivalent monitor without G-sync. Freesync doesn't add any additional cost, so that's definitely worth it.

Can you use g-sync with an AMD card, or freesync with an NVIDIA card?
If it's vendor lock-in, then see what the prices are and determine whether you actually want to pay that.

ayymd doesnt support gsync because nfagya doesnt allow them to

either way you need a new monitor that supports one of them, freesync ones being cheaper cause no "muh proprietary ncuckya $200 aditional module" inside

i have freesync on my main monitor and honestly i don't really notice any difference. but i'm sure g-sync would be the same
