Is free/g-sync worth it?
Depends, but yes
g sync is just free sync with the apple tax attached to it
I got a sweet deal on a G-sync monitor, it's definitely worth it if you can get a G-sync monitor for not much more than the cost of an otherwise equivalent monitor without G-sync. Freesync doesn't add any additional cost, so that's definitely worth it.
Freesync, yes. Goy sync no

Doesn't the chip process better or faster or something?

It's neck and neck.
Can you use g-sync with an AMD card, or freesync with an NVIDIA card?
If it's vendor lock-in, then see what the prices are and determine whether you actually want to pay that.

B-but with Gsync the gpu talks to yhe monitor, making it superior!

Jesus christ can you not? What did you think you could bring by replying absolutely nothing to a reply made over an hour ago?

nbadia doesnt support freesync because it doesnt want to (they want sheep to shell out coins for gsync, duh)
ayymd doesnt support gsync because nfagya doesnt allow them to
either way you need a new monitor that supports one of them, freesync ones being cheaper cause no "muh proprietary ncuckya $200 aditional module" inside

Free sync >>>>>>>>>> Gsync
i have freesync on my main monitor and honestly i don't really notice any difference. but i'm sure g-sync would be the same
*NSync >>>>>>>> G-Sync >>>>>>> FreeSync
