>Where the plot thickens is when you look at the Koduri’s unwavering ambition. Koduri’s ultimate goal is to separate the Radeon Technologies Group from its corporate parent at all costs with the delusion that RTG will be more competitive with NVIDIA and become a possible acquisition target for Koduri and his band of mutineers to cash in when it's sold. While Koduri is known to have a strong desire to do this by forging a new relationship with Apple on custom parts (no surprise there) for Macbooks, the real focus is on trying to become the GPU technology supplier of choice to none other than Intel. While this was speculated some time ago I can tell you with certainty that a deal is in the works with Intel and Koduri and his team of marauders working overtime to get the deal pulled into port ASAP. The Polaris 10/11 launch, and all of its problems, are set to become a future problem of Intel’s in what RTG believes will be a lucrative agreement that will allow Koduri and his men to slash the lines from Lisa Su and the rest of AMD.

Pajeet wants to sell Radeon to Intel in the delusion that it could be more competitive to Nvidia

I'm pretty sure Intel has the possibilities to BTFO Nvidia if they had full access to AMD's GPU portfolio. Not that it's going to happen.

No. It turned out exactly like most people were expecting. The RX 480 is a great price / performance card, offering 390X performance at $230. The reference card can handle only mild overclocks. For bigger overclocks, we'll have to wait until the "beastly" AIB cards arrive and get reviewed.

Indians are masters of computational ideas, it is why half of Asia embrace buddhism and Indian mathematics spread the world over.

They basically put Asia on the map as far as mathematics and philosophy does; when given a fair chance, Indian immigrant will definitely add perspective from a unique and creative culture background to produce more competent software and technology solution like none other immigrant can.

they've reached rock bottom. In terms of journalism they couldn't possibly go down any further. The only discernign quality between whatever Kyle writes concerning AMD general and the most savage fanboys from the other camps is a somewhat better articulation and the fact that he has his own reasonably popular outlet.
>>
>>55272325
they do have above average testing methodology, and their benches are usually quite relevant compared to the competition

the article side of the website is mostly trash tho
>>
>>55272359
That's why I singled out Kyle and AMD.
I haven't been there much after his butthurt breakdown, but it used to be one of my favorite sources for reviews.

But anyway, as things are now, I don't think anyone but fanboys should go there for good reviews (or rather, confirmation), since the site owner isn't simply biased but he has started a slandering campaign against one major tech company.

>>

>better in some ways than both amd and nvidia

Perhaps - but it it is still years behind AMD's integrated gpu options and (naturally) even further behind discrete gpu solutions. AMD's APUs slaughter all but the latest and greatest of Intel's offerings for gpu performance and if/when AMD brings the cpu side upto par Intel has no hope of competing.
>>
>>55274242

it's not really years behind

That's only the 24 EU one, they ahve highend ones with 48, and some with edram which puts them way above any amd apu.

>>
>>55274405

Not really - Intel's latest and greatest don't come cheap whereas AMD produces el cheapo apus with little effort (and I might add without the huge slab of L4 cache to boot).

Once the zen apus roll around Intel is still as fucked as ever when considering integrated graphics.

Side note: Intel is learning the hard way the sort of software support that is needed for gpu support - cpus either work of they don't but gpus require all kinds of hacks and fuckery to keep optimal performance and Intel simply is not equipped to deal with that right now. Proper driver support for graphics solutions is a true motherfucker when focusing on games and Intel really isn't prepared for the shit AMD and Nvidia deal with.
>>
>>55274524
we weren't talking about price
>>
DESIGNATED
>>
>>55274547

Even then its taken what, 3-4 years for Intel to match what AMD can produce with a butchered version of their discrete gpu architecture? I know this is heresy for /g/ but the reality is despite what Intel claims their integrated gpu solutions are far behind the competition.
>>
>>55270249
WTF does "GPU load" even mean? There are tons of components in a GPU that can be differently loaded depending on the program -- which does that metric measure? Shader processors? Texture samplers? ROPs? Rasterizer load? Vertex fetcher? Memory bandwidth?
