I did the ram upgrade and the disk upgrade a little over 3 years ago now. Now your comment on dual SSD's makes me want to go 16gb ram and better disks.... was it hard to find a screen? I hate the 1280

also completely replaced the fan assembly a few years ago to get rid of a know problem with a annoying pulsating fan sound (I did try the hole drilling trick first which made the fan unstable if anyone think replacing the entire thing was overkill)
