>miniDP a failure
it's superior than HDMI and more compact
>>55242123
The failure is the mini dvi
>>55242045
I have one of these in my computer. I don't see the point of it personally, but for some reason it's the only slot my xbox controller fits into, so meh.
>>55242045
your mother
>>55242123
>it's superior than HDMI and more compact
IKR
Except USB-C and big DP 2.0 can do that and better.
>implying i'm wrong
hybrid drives?
>>55242199
didn't really fail, just had its time and place and got replaced
>>55242045
I have one of these on my laptop, and I plug my mouse into it, because that's the best port for it, and I have my keyboard plugged next to it. It seems like a nice idea, but when I plug a USB plug into it it wiggles a bit, and I never needed eSATA.
>>55242045
What's wrong with esata/USB2 ports?
>>55242436
this
>>55242045
Sys admin and it guy for a mid size office. These things are amazing. Slapping in hds has never been easier
>>55242501
They're actually usb 3. Really handy if you're in IT
iPhones
They were a good fashion accessory but the whole thing crashing down when a homosexual was put in charge. Now iPhones are a joke.
>>55242554
No they are not
>>55242501
They don't deliver power to the eSATA HDD, you need a special version of the port for that
>>55242813
Nice projecting.
Stocks go up, stocks go down. Simple as that. You can't seriously expect constant rising, can you?
>see pic
>>55243027
Nice projecting.
>implying apple will ever rise to previous heights
>>55243240
Nice projecting.
>Apple's stock will plummet to nothingness because I want it to and I hate them!
>>55243240
This. Apple was ebin with steve but ever since he died all stuff from apple has been a joke. 800mhz CPU laptops, $1,000+ ARM tablets trying to replace dekstops/laptops, bendgate, etc.
>>55243269
Apples stock will plummet because nobody wants to buy their shit anymore. Face it, apple products no longer have that magic they used to have now that steve is kill. It's actually becoming embarrassing to admit that you own apple products now.
>>55242368
Why is there no cooling for the VRMs?
>>55242511
Until usb 3.0 I guess.
>>55242123
no royalties either
>>55242889
>They don't deliver power to the eSATA HDD, you need a special version of the port for that
thinkpad master race. feels good
>>55243432
>because I want it to and I hate them!
Got it.
>>55242889
>They don't deliver power to the eSATA HDD, you need a special version of the port for that
So? Many enclosers have their own power brick regardless.
>>55242813
Still massively successful
Android are taking over though
I hope windows comes up with a non shit phone
>>55242045
At least
t's a combo port and not just a worthless waste of space
>tfw you actually regularly use eSATA now
>>55242110
>touch desk
>lose signal
Fuck mini DVI.
>>55242199
FireWire's not a failure.
>>55243445
The big rectangular components are inductors. The VRMs are small surface-mounted chips that are cooled by the copper pipe.
>>55242107
it was pretty good until 90s
>>55243766
uhhh no! They sold like um, 31 iPhones this whole year. NOBODY buys them! Didn't you see my post?? >>55243432
>>55243432
No one cares, Apple already won this battle
>>55242045
I may have never really used it but at the time I -did- look for it as a feature.
>>55242813
>Now
>>55242045
I had one of these on my old laptop. It was actually really useful when I upgraded to an SSD and needed an external drive for games. Usb 2.0 wouldn't have worked too well but eSata was usable.
>>55243403
> falling for the clock speed myth
>>55244994
With clock multipliers usually in the 10-25 range, his complaint is justified.
