My phone has barely any internal memory and a lot of my apps can't be moved to the SD card. With Android 6.0, supposedly you can format the SD card to be your internal memory. However, there's no official update for this phone yet. Do those custom ROMs require your phone to be rooted?

Alternatively, I'm willing to root my phone and use that folder mount app, but not too familiar with it. Don't give a shit about the phone warranty being void, just don't want to brick it or get disconnected from my carrier.

Unless some glaring flaw comes out, I would say it's worth the money. The AMOLED display is mediocre, the build quality is good, and everything else works as expected. Flagships definitely still have some appeal (LG and HTC have fantastic audio, and Samsung has great battery life and build quality) but the OP3 should be more than plenty to satisfy people.

Hey guys, I've been using an iphone 6 and finally got around to fucking the screen up after years of never dropping any of my phones (so I never bought a case since I never drop my phones... until this morning).
I'm using ATT and am in the U.S. I received an email saying I'm eligible for an upgrade if I turn in my current phone.
I was thinking about getting an iphone 7 when it rolls out since ios is simple and 'just works'. I originally bought it because I didn't want to think about how my phone works and android phones a few years back just felt clunky and basically shit.
I've been interested in working on android programs though so I'm considering maybe making a jump to hideous green text bubbles and was wondering what a clean, well designed android phone would be to choose. The Nexus 6p looks like it's pretty solid with a suite of software that isn't horribly awkward to work with.
Thoughts? Advice?

The quick charging does work on custom roms. Where did you get that idea from? The battery is fine unless you want it to not be charged for 2 days. Hey /spg/ I have had an HTC M8 (red) since it came out. It didn't impress me so I treated it like I didn't care, a few days ago I dropped it one too many times and now the power button is constantly touching. I had a S4 mini duos and it was the shit, until it decided to die 1 month after the warranty expired.

I followed someone's suggestion from yesterday and installed cm13 on my redmeme note 3 pro but my network keeps dropping randomly.
Everything else seems to be working perfectly fine.
Any one have tips to fix it? Couldn't find a baseband to flash

That's not true. The operating system itself is actually much better than any android flavour.
I miss it big time.
I just recently changed to a huawei p8 lite from lumia 820. I can use some interesting apps now which is nice, because I needed them.
If your not interested in any special apps, windows phone is really good.

BH has the Moto x pure significantly marked down (16gb for 240, 64gb for 320) and it comes with a microsd card. I'm really tempted to dump my M9 for it (my battery is shit). I've heard that Moto has a ton of QC issues with them and that support is abysmal. What do you guys think?
