Never, i fucking hope, you goddamn autist.

Looks like shit. Glad this style died out.

Nostalgic but very unappealing to look at. I don't miss the insane eye strain I got from looking at CRT monitors.

There's nothing stopping you from building one right now.

The keyboard, mouse, and speakers have no issue with interacting with a modern OS. I'm sure you can find a white case with rounded edges to suit your tastes, or you can put a modern motherboard in an old one.

The monitor is a little different story. You could go with a white LCD monitor, or you could track down one of the nice 21" CRT monitors they used to make. They had very impressive capabilities, with 2048x1536@100hz being possible on the best of the best. Or you could even find a widescreen model if you want to spend a lot of money on it.

I used to get headaches from the crap CRT I had in the 90s, but I got a nice 85hz 21" one a few years ago and it's been perfect. Good CRTs are no worse than LCDs for eye strain

This is the thing I'd swap out

I've got a kb series from 1996 and a track point mouse to go with it.

This. You can find good CRTs for 20€ or less
Also is a great solution for low cost high refresh rate since most can do 100 hz or more

'90s shit is everywhere, get a hold of it while it's still around.

They're really not aesthetic at all.
