I work in a retail shop.
We got a continuum on display and fuck its fucking slow. Often freezing. Can outright kill the thing with an alt+f4 if it has a bad day.
Got a lumia 950 for test. Conclusion:
ITS FUCKING HOT
drains battery like motherfuck
angry birds has fps lag like wtf its a 6 core phone with 3 gigs ram
windows phone 8 had a bad music player, god knows its really hard to make a step back on that area
well, fuck me gently, they did like 10 steps back
groove my ass
equalizer is shit
struggles to randomize
struggles to load more songs
cant fucking remove songs from playlist but at least you can add so gg
if you pause mid song then want to continue later, it just jumps on the next song

oh also i tested it had no sim in it, with wifi on it drained less battery than with wifi off
after i killed all the background shit it managed to last almost a whole day

Not putting in a sim just makes phones constantly scan for signal on all bands to try and find a connection and overheat and drain the battery life like crazy. How the fuck do you make a living selling phones and not know basic shit like this?

Good to know. I had a 920 and it did the same bullshit with the battery. Getting hot for no fucking reason and draining in no time.

I assumed 920s were fucked but sounds like the OS is.

It's beyond terrible. It looks good and fixed some minor bugs, but added a billion more.

W10m drains battery like crazy, WP8.1 however was fucking godlike compared to Android, and on the same battery capacity and processor managed to last hours longer.
