Turned an old computer into a cloud server for my college apt. Me and my roommates use it mostly for movies, shows, music, and school projects.

I run a TeamSpeak server. My friend used to pay like $80 a month, but I decided to host it to save everyone money. It actually runs better because the paid server would lag sometimes.
When you go to say a coffee shop or some shit you can just ssh into your home server and use your own internet instead of some bullshit unsecured open network.

Torrents, Web interface for torrents, SSH and whatnot.
