ayyyyy /g/ I come seeking your holy guidance

I have a 4-5 year old Razer Imperator (shit mouse I know) and the left click has gone all fucked up, I can only click it if my finger is dead center on the button and I push really hard.

Now I want to open the thing up and I know how to do it, I just have one question - is the adhesive on the teflon the feet sticky enough to allow reapplication? Or will I need to get new feet after peeling these off?

I really can't afford an amazing replacement mouse and if I can fix the button here I may save myself for a few more years.

So, is that glue still sticky after peeling the feet off?

there must be someone who knows

You can reuse it if you keep the pads and the mouse glue clean, and try not to bend the pads

thank you

i hope this isnt bait and im stuck with a mouse with no pads

Don't make the same mistake I did and bend them, even still the feet on my mouse went back fine with a bit of unbending.
Even once you do that, be careful with working out what direction to pry things so you don't snap plastic clips and leave yourself with a rattling mouse.

>Call Logitech costumer support
>Tell them my mouse is fucked and if they can repair it
>They ask me papers and to send photos of the mouse destroyed with a hammer
>They send me a brand new mouse of the same model, a 6 years old laser G9

Good luck with your repairing OP :^)

I wasn't very careful when I pulled the feet off mine and they got all bent up. It doesn't catch on the mousepad but it doesnt feel the same as before, either. I recommend a knife or screwdriver to pry them off bit by bit.

Even if the glue isn't sticky enough you can still use some double-sided tape.

How do you intend to fix the switch?
