meh you can boast about just using common sense but sooner or later you can get into some shit if you run on Windows. I use bitDefender Free for that. Not that it will clean all attacks but it's nice to have something tell me if something goes south so that I can work on it manually

On Windows I just use the build in Windows Defender for realtime monitoring, Malware Bytes and Hitman Pro for on-demand scans (keeping both as portable installations on the flash drive).

On Linux I use nothing.
