If you're an encoder try becoming an internal on AHD. Hang out in their encoding channel in IRC and do user releases/user remuxes. People notice pretty quickly, and if you become an internal on AHD that opens you up to getting on HDB, as well as special classes on BTN and GPs on PTP.

I used to a box to race to UHD status, got 1:1 at least on every torrent I added.
Don't think you'll get much buffer from it though
HDB is a piece of piss though, all the buffer i've got is from my home connection (328kb/s) and I make a minimum of 20gb upload a week from FL
I know it's basically nothing but when all the good movies are free leech + bonus points system it's pretty easy to survive.
Plus I cross seed from PTP which is basically ratioless :^)

I feel kind of the same. I'm currently debating whether or not to transfer all my PTP torrents to HDB, as I can't cross-seed them all since some of them are either edited or has an outdated version. I estimated that I could only cross-seed about 50% of my total PTP torrents.

On one hand PTP is giving me so much buffer just from mass seeding, but HDB's bonus point system would make it so if I were to seed the same amount, I would get only a fraction of the buffer.

I didn't really get much if any buffer when I used a box but like I said, I had 1:1 on every torrent which helped me get to the UHD class.

Sometimes the files seem the exact same but ends up having different checksums or something, files being corrupted, etc and it makes it a pain to cross-seed.
Most times HDB torrents have "samples" ranging between 50-100mb, PTP doesn't. It might seem like nothing but it adds up when your seedsize is above 10TB.
And then most PTP GPs aren't HDB internals, or they don't even have any HDB encodes on the page.
