MSI Turbosocket

Ok, after reading some forums it seems that the 2011-3 socket processors do have unused pins that can be used for extra vrms.
Downside is that it makes it very easy to fry your cpu.
Sounds dumb

Holy shit msi treats overclocking like the most amazing thing you can do to a gayming pc until you can't even boot into windows.

this has been the case for most sockets in the last 5 years, but using them rarely impacts performance or stability in a meaningful way.

Generally they are used for prototyping, probing/testing, or nonstandard hardware.
