Apple's biggest new product launch isn't going to be the apple car, but rather a home robotics platform. It will start at around $1000 and be wheeled. It will greet you at the door, act as a security device, interact with apple TV and other devices, and be open to app development.

It's face is a large touchpad.
Lithium Ion batteries. The "Car" people they hired are working on it. It will be open for app development.
Like it can play hide and seek, dance to music etc.

It has a personality they are programming it with similar to a pet dog. It "wags" it's entire body when you come home. Has a charging port on the body and can charge your devices. Will be hooked up so if your battery is low on a device, like laptop it comes up and offers a USB 3 charging link.
