Do any tablet, Windows or Android (via OTG), supply enough power over micro-USB to power an external hard-drive?
I'm trying to figure out the cheapest and most compact solution for a year-long trip, where it'd be nice to bring along movies and something to watch them on, but a laptop seems like overkill. And flash storage too expensive.
It's pretty much always 5V, and pretty much always below 1A.
