Hello fellow geeks i need some advice
Ive been into pc gaming for probably 6 years. Right now im using a dell xps 8300 with an hd 6450 in it. It can only run older games and alot of cool games came out recently so im deciding to upgrade. I found this beauty at only $800. Should i get this or should i keep looking. Here are the specs:
>Intel i5-6300HQ 2.3 GHz Quad-Core (6M Cache, Turbo up to 3.2 GHz)
>NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960M 4GB GDDR5
>8 GB DDR3L / 256 GB Solid-State Drive
>15.6-Inch FHD IPS, Wide-Angle, Anti Glare Screen
for 800 dollars you could build a desktop that could max out pretty much any game

If not prohibited by space. Just build a nice matx desktop for that price anon. Then you can steamlink into it to play your visual novels on the go.

The thing is i know how to build a pc but i cant discern which parts to buy. I dont know what goes together and what doesn't.

use the logical increments site in the sticky. it has recommendations on gaming laptops that are worth your budget, as well as good recs as far as desktop parts if you want more performance for newer titles. laptops get expensive to play AAA games on high/ultra. I spent $2300 on my last one and I'm waiting to send it in because I broke it. clutch on that warranty tho tbqhwy familia lmao tru
