A few, im not great at it or anything. Its good for my hand. Can do finger passes, charges, thumb arounds and reverse thumb arounds pretty easy. Finger pass into charge is the only combo i know though.

Ayy. Finally finished up my room. A few more things to unpack around the rest of the apartment but priorities. Also picked up a new old keyboard last weekend. Its an NMB RT8255C+ with Hi-Tek clicky "Space Invader" switches. Its in great condition, only needed a good cleaning. I've been running it as my main board since I finished cleaning it and aside from not having super keys, its absolutely perfect. For $3 from Goodwill I won't knock it.

It's a Razer Deathadder Black Edition. Served me well, a little too large for my hands, died about a month or two ago now.

I'm using a G303 now, and while the sensor is ridiculously smooth and the weight is perfect, the design of the mouse just doesn't fit my hand. I'm a little worried because there are no mice out there that fit exactly what I need, which is essentially a slightly smaller Deathadder with the thumb buttons pulled towards me about a half inch or so. Hybrid fingertip/claw grip is a bitch when you have short thumbs and like your middle finger on the wheel and ring finger on the right click.

I've heard the FK1 is really solid, though it sounds like the EC2-A would be the better fit for me specifically. It was backordered just about everywhere when I got this mouse, unfortunately. I bought this one because the scroll wheel on my Deathadder broke, so I needed a quick replacement.

It's my birthday today and I've got a good amount of money to blow. I was thinking about getting an iPhone 5S for $150, moving from an old Galaxy S4. This one's old and the battery is shit and its just too large, but the 5S is also quite old. It'd be a new phone, just not "new."

I might just spring for a Zowie mouse, I don't know. This one is quite uncomfortable for me.

I know there are a few options out there that have a sort of quick release to them where you just screw in a plate into the VESA mounting holes and then that slides and clips into the arm. I want to improve my bst in a whim way. I mean I don't really need it since I think I have it as I like it, but I know I can change some details.

Is it really worth?

Once the Valhalla 2 sells I'll go back to the Benchmark.

Maybe my hearing is just shit but the Valhalla 2 hardly made a difference, definitely not enough to justify the investment. Plus switching between speakers and headphones is much easier on the Benchmark. The left socket is switched (can adjust a jumper to remove the feature) so as soon as something is plugged in it cuts off the balanced/unbalanced outputs at the back.

There are a few others with some good gear, one guy with KH 310s plus some Genelecs I can't identify because that whole 8000 series looks the same. Another one has M040s and the original HD800.

What are some good backlights for monitors?

Ok /BST/ I currently have 3 12" 4:3 screens and a 13" 5:3 screen. I need a mount for them. I also plan on adding 2 16:9 monitors in a 3/3 layout, and need the mount to support them as well. Please give advice.

The number of monitors doesn't matter.

The only difference between one 1920x1200 landscape monitor and two 960x1200 portrait monitors side by side is the direction they face and the gap between them.

So then it's a matter of how close you sit, and whether you'd prefer your display to be flat, or shaped around you either curved or split.

Further, the only factor that actually is relevant to your argument should be resolution.

There will be a minimum resolution for the monitor to display things to a standard you deem acceptable.
Next there is your personal limit for how many visual cues you can keep track of in short term memory for switching between tasks.
This sets a max useful resolution for you, the user.

The part where your argument really breaks down is that the cues you need to efficiently switching between tasks is a highly subjective, and also relative to the length of time you're going to be at the computer.

One person may memorise the windows in use and switch. They'll first refer to muscle memory and then get on with work. Another may simply look at another monitor or area of a monitor within their field of vision.

Essentially, whether or not anyone can multitask has absolutely nothing to do with how many monitors have the potential to be useful.
