Python is really fun to write/learn. If you don't mind sacrificing readability, you can do some really cool shit in line.

I'm still a scrub at python, but I did this on codefights.

lookAndSaySum = lambda n: sum(int(j) for j in z(n))

It gives you the sum of a look and say sequence after n iterations. There's a dude on there who did it in 30 less characters than that, just to put it out there.
