Is it worth upgrading 3770K to a newer CPU for gaming? I plan on getting a new GPU soon and don't want it to be bottlenecked by anything else in my setup (2000MHz, DDR3).
It's OC'ed to 4.4GHz and I'll probably be getting a GTX 1070 or AMD equavilent (when they're announced) in the next few months and upgrading my monitor to a 1440p one.
Thanks!!!

Th...thanks!
upgrading your CPU would entail purchasing a new motherboard, and new ram. That's a solid $200+ on top of the other $250+ you'll spend on a new CPU. Is it worth spending $400-500 to get 6-10 more FPS in your gay ass videogames?
Im still using my 3770k, because yeah fuck getting a new mobo, new ram and all that shit. I use it with a 980 ti and I literally cant think of a single reason I would want to upgrade outside of me wishing I had sli on my mobo.
