Nova is great if you like to rice. I like how you can hide folders under an app icon and show it with gestures.

But if you want something that just works, Smart Launcher is good too.

I prefer Launchers that adapt to my behaviour, Arrow Launcher does a good job at this, showing my recent apps, calls and files and placing the most used apps on one page. It looks professional.

Does Nova have paginated vertical scrolling in the app list yet? If not I'm sticking to Apex

Settled on atom launcher after trying a whole bunch a few years ago. Was looking for one that was lightweight, had folders and a decent app drawer. Not that I use launcher features much anymore though. Now I just use pie control and T9 dialer

I've tried almost all the launchers posted ITT, Apex seems to be the most flexible without feeling bloated. Arrow launcher was nice but it's trying too hard to be like iOs.

I've had action launcher 3, and after trying nova and google now and apex and a whole bunch of others, it's by far my favorite. I just downloaded the paid version from aptoide so no moneys were spent. Can never go back to a paged appdrawer.

Most of the Android ricing I see on here is aesthetically pleasing, but reduces ease of use. I guess that's why they call it ricing.

Sure the minimalist, 6 icon group with no dock looks cool, but who wants to have to have to constantly be doing shit like searching for commonly used apps in the drawer?

All three of my icons are folders. Tap them and they open the first app in the folder, swipe them and they open the folder.

That's what I used to do with action launcher. I had my five icon dock, but all of them were the swipe folders organized how I liked them (most frequent, social media, google shit, tools, other). I loved it. And I had a quickpage (action launcher thing, an additional 4x4 screen that you get by dragging from the right. it's sorta dumb) that I stored my widgets on, like the flashlight. And I had a widget for a text-based clock, that when you clicked it would open kik, and I can't remember what I made a double click. That was my old phone, I haven't done much to my new one yet. Finally able to use custom roms, so I've been dicking around with cyanogen and aokp mostly.
