I got battery acid on my skin several times before and I wondered why it didn't burn me, regardless I washed my hands. My clothes on the other hand had the acid splashed onto them and they sat in my laundry pile. When they came out of the wash they were covered in holes.

It will probably go away in a couple years. I burned the shit out of my foot with pure sodium hydroxide. I was tired of fucking with athlete's foot so I went to war.
