I personally had my wrist fuck up when holding a cup of coffee, got it all over my rig.
was so bad I had to clean out the cpu socket (fucken hell)

only damage was 1 stick of ram, was not going to run 4gigs of ram so I just got a 16gig 8x2 pack.

yea, I'm not always going to use more then 8 gigs but when I do my pc is not going to turn to a sack of shit under load.
16gigs well worth.

ps. I tossed my mobo/970 into the condensing dryer I have. had my rig back up and running in less then an hour.
