According to their issue tracker, qBittorrent 3.3.2 is a piece of shit that crashes like a madcunt.

https://github.com/qbittorrent/qBittorrent/issues

Daily reminder never to listen to /g/ because they recommend open source software even if its a buggy piece of shit.

Stay with uTorrent 2.2.1, which doesn't crash at all.

Used qbittorrent for multiple years and stumbled upon my first I/O error, stalled, last night. Couldn't get it to go away, and no, it was not due to lack of storage or memory.

Then I discovered Ktorrent. It's perfect. Maxes out my network, just like qbittorrent, but does so much faster. It also has useful plugins OOTB and requires less dependencies, seeing as I am already using KDE.

Pleasantly surprised. Going to reinstall gentoo tomorrow (due to a bug I caused myself) and this time I'm going to stick to Ktorrent.

Some of the issues with qBittorrent (e.g. stalled torrents) are actually related to libtorrent, which is what qBittorrent is built around. So is Deluge, Halite and numerous other clients. All of these clients are going to produce the same issues. Your best bet is to use something not based on libtorrent, such as Transmission, Tixati or uTorrent (although I still wouldn't recommend uTorrent for other reasons)
>>
which torrent client has best RSS support, cunts?

>>
>>52526021
well, I am from the qBittorrent forum team.
we are waiting for the SMF team so they can verify that there was no hack at all.

but this was our suspicion from the beginning.
1) 12 year old script kiddies claim that they have hacked literally all the forum engines on the internet
2) The only way to access it, is a random shady paid site, by one of these fucks
3) Said site goes down, stays down
4) Even the said fuck disappears - both online, and realityforums

What is known 100%:
> The server was not breached.
> No account got 'hacked'.
> There was no hello.txt or anything on our server after we got "hacked"
> There is nothing in our logs
> SMF team says there is no public exploit available for the latest SMF, only paid ones
> implying two basement dweller social rejects will have 5k $ to hack a few sites

So... the investigation will likely discover nothing new, this whole thing was a hoax only.
As soon as the SMF lead says we are good to go, we will be back.

what?
Based Arvid always helped qBittorrent since the beginning of the project.
Every bug the team finds, will make his library less buggy.

It's a win-win for both teams.
Also the qBittorrent team cannot just fix libtorrent bugs.
And developing an entire library just for a project, is just dumb.

there is only Pajeet's library, aka the rtorrent one.
