I like the X so much. I normally go for stock with Motorola but they didn't change much with the UI and you can also install CM without voiding the warranty (I've heard).

I'm a poorfag however and scared they'll screw me if something happens with the phone.

I don't see much reason to flash CM as oxygen is basically AOSP with gapps + some customisation options. Gravitybox works well on here, so my ricing autism is sated.

I loved my Oneplus One but I had to sell it because it was to big. It would dig into my hip when walking along in certain jeans.

I am considering the OnePlus X as the size is perfect for me and the screen looks pretty nice. Camera is a bit lacking though and battery life: no idea.

Got my oneplus x for about two weeks now and I can't be happier. No nfc and no quickcharge is kinda sad but damn it is price / performance. If you don't really care about the camera too much its a great buy. Im still fiddling with me way to much.

Battery was my concern when buying but this puppy can gey you a solid 4h sot every time, sometimes you can get 5 out of it . coming from a nexus 5 this is a giant leap , no lag whatsoever (although I didn't test 3d games) and day 3gb of ram lets the os breathe peacefully

I own a Oneplus Two and it's kinda meh.

Oxygen OS is sometimes a bit buggy still but I keep it on there for the fingerprint scan function.

Main problem I have with it is that the 810 cpu is kind of overkill and a battery drainer.

Hearthstone drains the battery faster than it did on my 2013 midrange huawei, and even though it looks better it's still bothersome for me.

Also the screen colors are just flat out ugly. They lack vibrancy and it makes the experience just a bit worse. You'll stop noticing it but whenever someone pulls out any other phone you'll instantly be reminded of the shit display that your oneplus Two has.

Oh also I forgot to mention that AMOLED looks incredible on oneplus x. And generally the screen is really good by itself. Doesn't have a cheap plastic feel , don't feel like it is under a filer or far from the glass. Perfect

Apps that don't have a built-in menu button and rely on a hardware one won't have an accessible menu button unless you use on-screen buttons
I tried using Pie Controls, but it only made it worse. If you have apps like that you'll be more or less forced to use on-screen buttons to be able to access the menu/settings

Some games would lag for no good reason, the same game would play very smooth on the "old" hardware of the Nexus 5
One game I tried to install gave a weird error. Overall, I still don't think you can match the Nexus software experience. And it's very hard to explain this to people that only look at specs and benchmarks. But once you're used to everything working, you tend to notice the small bugs that other phones are full of.

The main reason I noticed the screen responsiveness was because of a pool game I play almost every day. Precise shots would be just a bit harder to do on the OPX, lining up the trajectory of the ball would not be as smooth as on the Nexus 5.

Also when playing One More Dash, the game would have frame drops after every dash, something the Nexus 5 would never do.

My own suspicion is that OnePlus haven't done a very good job of tweaking the drivers for the screen and the GPU. Again, if you don't play games, you might never notice frame drops while you're browsing 4chan or watching a YouTube video.

But it was enough of a quality of life dip for me to drop the phone. It's my main computing device and I don't want to feel like I'm degrading my experience when I get a new phone.
