I'm excited about this project. Android has a massive amount of compatible software, and it's potential is quite crippled because of the android platforms, most being tiny screens with slow cpu's and rarely over 1gb of ram. I've used Android x86 on standard laptops and IT FUCKING FLIES. Only problem was the silly GUI, that doesn't really make sense on a PC. You want a panel, a WM, etc. Remix OS is adding just that to the already excellent Android x86 OS.

This could be 2016's gamechanger OS.

This + root + afwall + xprivacy will make an epic secure OS, plus busybox installs a lot of the typical linux tools. fdroid would work nicely on this too.
