It is for me. I just built a gaming desktop and only have Debian on it, no Windows. With the new Steam tools on Linux and the games I play being available (TF2, CSGO and KF), I see no need to use Windows, especially given how easy it is to program in Linux distros.

Nope, no way. Microsoft still dominates the market, and with the release of Windows 10, it doesn't look like that'll change soon. Linux is better for functionality, but the learning curve is much too steep for a normie to choose it as their primary OS.
