Open chrome:flags
turn on #enable-smooth-scrolling

No need to thank me, browser scrolling general thread.

For me:
>1. Safari on OSX
>2. Internet explorer or M. Edge on Windows
>3. Chrome
>4. Firefox (RIP) on Linux
>5. Opera
>6. Vivaldi (are you even trying?)
>>
1. Firefox on GNU/Linux or BSDs
2. Chromium on GNU/Linux or BSDs
3. Other WebKit-based browsers on GNU/Linux or BSDs

All the others don't count as they are proprietary malware.
>>
just to let u know, op, it worked and its sweet
>>

Lags as hell.

>2. Internet explorer or M. Edge on Windows

Thanks for the tip but other than that, fuck off OP.

or Mr. Edge if you prefer.

thanks

But vimium already does smooth scrolling
>>
Edge and IE have the best smooth scrolling from what I've seen. Firefox has the worst and chrome is a bit buggy.

OS X should do it anyway by default, thanks to Quartz and Aqua. I can't speak for the Retina Macbooks, though. I once dragged a window around on one with the scaling turned down, and it was hilariously choppy. High DPI is not ready.

it sucks ass, but it's better than the default scrolling option.

Get out , Stallman.

Yea, smooth scroll is ok when enabled but the extension is fucking great desu senpai
>>
>about:flags
>enable directwrite

is it any good?
>>

Wut
>>
>>51591583
Smooth scrolling increases scrolling latency. It's an anti-feature. The only excuse for using it is if you are literally too stupid to remember which way you scrolled immediately after doing it.
>>
It won't beas good as an extension, will it?
I'm using this: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/smoothscroll/nbokbjkabcmbfdlbddjidfmibcpneigj?utm_source=chrome-app-launcher-info-dialog
>>
>>51594384
that's adware senpai

use https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/chromium-wheel-smooth-scr/khpcanbeojalbkpgpmjpdkjnkfcgfkhb?hl=en
>>
>>51591583
1) Chrome
2) Firefox
3) Safari
4) Everything else
5) IE
>>
>>51594208
that was enabled by default a few versions ago
>>
Smooth scrolling? On LCDs? Nah, my phone gives me enough pain with its blur as it is, I don't want that on my desktop.
>>
>>51591583
I always let Smooth scrolling disabled because it's just faster without.
Just leave smooth scrolling to the normies
