Click inside the album search bar and just hit enter and you'll be able to rank them from newest released. Look for albums that are in flac but are missing the following formats: V2,V0,320kb/s. Yeah but size plays a role too, as indicated by that calculator. If I do 16x1 raidz3 I'll have 26TB usable, wheras if I did 8x2 raidz2 I'd end up with 24TB usable. In any case, there's the limitation so I can't even do a full 16 raidz3.

So I'll probably just end up doing two pools with each 8 disks in raidz2 all 2TB. In the future when I need more space I'll expand to 4TB, since currently it's the same price for 16x2TB and 8x4TB drives, and I'll end up with the same amount of usable storage, except that I will have two vdevs and won't be sweating balls when a rebuild comes along (4 partiy disks basically).

Freenas doesn't have a packet manager and I plan to run some server services so I'm going with debian.

beauty of ZFS is that you can change the host OS so if you ever want to go freenas even though you set it up on debian, you can do so
