Do you try to organize all your files?

Yes. Everything has a place somewhere. It's easy to stay organised once you start of organised.

move all gif, jpg, jpeg, png, bmp, etc. etc. in here

move all .mpg, mp4, .flv, .mov, etc. etc. in here
>Documents
move all .doc, .docx, .txt, .html, .pdf, etc. etc. in here

Once you get that going, you can figure out how to clean up each folder the way you want. Not really that difficult, and if you use a wildcard match at a command line for the move, you'll do it in minutes.

nah, I used to kind-of try and stay organized, but not anymore. I discovered "Everything" windows search program which searches all your computer almost instantly, and it's made me lazy. It's great because I have not reformatted since 2011. I even upgraded from windows 7 to windows 8 and retained all my installations and shit I'd put on when I had 7, and they're all still there and usable. But damned if I remember where they all are.

Tfw have thousands of lewd photos in one folder ranging from milf, jav, trap,video games(street fighter, Nintendo, most fighting games, lol, Dota),
Hentai(subsets include trap, futa, shota, monster girls, jelly girls, loli and things of that nature)). it would take all day to organize that shit.

I have around 300k images I've collected from 4chan over the last decade, no way I'm going to organize that.

Are you me? I'm thinking of just dumping all of my shit into one monolithic folder per broad category. Every time I need an operating system image I realize I would be better off killing myself.

Yes, I also reorganize and clean my drive once in maybe 6 months. I delete a lot of shit I don't use, and I managed to go from hundreds of GBs to only like 60 of valuable files + about the same amount of temporary, nonessential media.

I could easily move from my current 120 GB SSD + 1 TB HDD to just one 250-500 GB SSD and be happy with it.

I just delete everything from time to time. So I make sure to store important stuff on the cloud or somewhere is it's not so easy to delete.

I just keep everything on my desktop.

I had to upgrade to a 4k monitor to get more space.

I have tons of unorganized, unlabeled hdds that probably have important stuff on them but I've given up. I buy a new drive and say to myself, "I'll be more organized this time." But I just end up filling it up and throwing it in the closet.

I attempt to organize things usually, but often enough I can't remember where I put a certain file especially weeks/months since I last viewed it. Everything is so intuitive, I just hit Win+S and search all the files in all four of my hard drives (even my NAS) with a single regex expression.
