if i get board enough i might dump older guts from previous builds
Af140 and corsair vengeance 2133mhz on the mail :) new picture soon!
is this a cool case guys? it fits all of the wires and stuff i want insied
How's the XB treating you? I had one for a while and it was hard to work in, especially with tubes running around everywhere.
Nidec is making Gentle Typhoons again. Blades are now black which is nice, quality seems to still be good
$20 at modmymods (Great name assholes)
i love it. i do admit it was a little tricky mounting my res + pump, its mounted ghetto style. case is definitely designed for heatsink + fans or AIO's.
overall, i love the design of the case. its my all time favorite and i keep going back to it.
lol i know right. was able to push it up with the power cables resting on the top hard drive.
i loved that build. was ghetto as shit but was able to shove so much crap inside that 430 elite.
how into cable management with matx case with very small spaces to hide shit with a non modular psu? case is xion xon-310_BK. zip ties and tape? velro? I'm getting graphics card soon and it may be tight fit
lol you serious?
Been through several iterations with this build. Pic-related is original loop planning with my X79 mobo before I painted my fans, etc.
New rig, Cable management needs some work I know. But It runs pretty awesome so far.
Starting to appreciate the AIO's limited aesthetic value, but I do miss my big fan.
Need to take a daytime shot with the window open instead of relying on camera flash at 5am.
To whatever asshole mentioned my mismatched blues... it actually doesn't bother my autism at all.
ITT: everyone posts the same old pictures, nobody rates
Then go rate, since you're not contributing anything else to this thread of computery internals.
won't boot with it like that. The slot's both work since I can get it to boot with just 1 plugged in to either slot but if I try to put the RAM in both A channels the system will not post for the life of me. It's so weird.
ok your post bugged my autism enough to open my case back up and try again booting with both DIMMS in the channel and it booted this time. Windows and Speccy see all 16GB and they shouldn't be single channel anymore. Not sure why it didn't want to boot originally with both DIMMs in the same channel.
Also inb4 >stock cooler , my CPU isn't overclockable (i5 4460) so there was no reason to buy aftermarket. However I did just order the cooler master 212 because it was only 20 bucks on sale.
It has screw holes that can fit 2 SSD's. You just attach it before you put the motherboatd in. I thought about mounting my EVO 850 back there but I just said eff it and put it in the drive cage. I'm only running the SSD and two WD Blues anyway.
The onboard audio and overclocking features are fantastic. I use the AIO to control all the fans in my system. It's hooked up to the fan hub on the reverse side of the 5.25 bay. I bought the motherboard refurbished for half MSRP.
Can tiny guts play too? :3
this is indeed one of my regrets about this config..
together with the m2 pci e drive, i bought the AHCI ignoring that also a NVMe version existed, which is incredibly faster on daily usage due to the lower latency.
anyway beside the HT of the i7, a 6700k wouldn t clock much higher than my i5 so it s still ok, i play games @ 1440p 144hz very good
