etc.

Nobody except rms wants to use "GNU/Linux" because everybody has been calling it "Linux" forever, and most of us have only heard of this being a controversy for maybe 5 years. People will go from a long name to an abbreviated name, but nobody wants to go from a short name to a long one.

Also, if a bunch of marketing people got together, the names "GNU", "Linux", and "GNU/Linux" would all be scrapped completely.
