Sounds like you made a poor choice as a consumer and refuse to take responsibility. With as many people that use an iPhone, you couldn't find one to borrow for 5 minutes and see if you enjoy it?
You can change the keyboard on Android ;^)
>most flagship androids cost up to $800, which is around the same price as an iPhone 6
>source: I own a flagship android
Good goyim not realising that the OS war is just a big ad.
Mine is better than yours.
No mine is.
but Merchant, Google is our friend, and apple the enemy. Google would never betray us or inform the NSA
I have one. you get 4.1.2 stock. Replicant doesn't support it, I think Cyanogen does but I'm not sure, I didn't bother with a custom rom. It's not hard to root it though. You get a removable micro SD but no removable battery. If you're a performance hound you probably won't like it, it was midrange when they introduced it in late 2012, but I'm of the opinion that that's adequate for the shit I do with a phone. Actually "adequate" would be my description of everything about it, battery life, camera, performance, etc. If you want an adequate phone that has a physical slide-out keyboard, it fits the bill perfectly.
My 30 seconds of googling shows someone selling them on Amazon for a hundred bucks, which I would consider moderately cheap for a smartphone.
>onscreen menu, home and back button
I like Material Design.
I also occasionally modify my layout.
My phone is 6" large.
top kek, the only thing getting blasted are your eyes when you get a text message (note: it's a service message from your provider) at night and you get blinded when you try to read it scrub
>not using a phone for adults, pic related
kind of ok
Sorry, but yeah, it's a pity.
BB10 had no chance to get any market share, even though it was by far the best of the "Big 4". Just because of apps. No, not *necessary* apps, just games and shit like that.
Ubuntu Touch, Sailfish OS, Tizen and Firefox OS will also be dying. Windows Mobile might have a chance because of convergence and the MS billions.
I mean, BB tried with the whole "able to run Android apps", but obviously it wasn't enough
I believe the problem was that only BB phones could run BB10, which meant you didn't have an amazing selection of phones to choose from if you went with BB10
Apple can pull it of because
>a) they're apple
I feel weird if I'm not using this keyboard.
At least my colors match.
I think the biggest problem was that 98% of population, including most salesmen, thought the company was long dead and wasn't making phones anymore.
At least that's the impression I get when talking to people
>maaaaan this is a blackberry? I thought they were bankrupt? damn I loved those phones.
You can't build a good ecosystem if the average person can't even buy your product without trying very hard - and won't try very hard because they don't even know the product exists.
tl;dr Blackberry marketing is the complete opposite of Apple marketing
it's good that they clung onto the professional market, but it's bad that in doing so they abandoned every other market.
This meant no users. And no users meant no apps.
And the business people these days also want to play a game or browse twitter from time to time. So they moved.
It's kinda sad, BB10 is probably the best of the remaining OSes, but it will die in the next 1-2 years.
> no removable battery
like most android phones these days.
and all iphones.
And, pretty soon, every phone except some chink ones.
>being too incompetent to solder in a new battery
>>being too incompetent to solder in a new battery
>sure let me just get to the battery
>whoops fucked the phone up because it's not made to be taken apart
>signed- HTC One M8 owner
Fixed. Just required a few SystemUI restarts.
Nvm, got them! :3
Actually, Twitter is preinstalled. But I get your point of course.
I believe they will maintain BB10 for a few years and maybe even bring out new ones for banks or governments, but the majority off all development will focus on Android.
>not using smiley with carat nose
>really like new keyboard
>wonder at all the things it needs access to
>read the warning prompt at switching my input device
>become afraid Fleksy will record my input and steal my Steam hats or something
Life is suffering.
>he doesn't have android 6.0 on his phone
>he doesn't have appops on his phone
>he doesn't have a firewall on his phone
Is that an official GoPro banner? No way right?
