So, another one bites the dust.
What file manager do we use now?
Glad I ditched this a few weeks ago.
I currently use "Amaze", but people always tell me it's bad because apparently it'll delete files if you attempt to move them to locations you can't write to. Haven't used it enough to test this.
How about you actually pay the $1 to get the app and support the developer that probably needs to pay multiple people you fucking neet. God I'll never understand why you guys are so fucking cheap.
Oh god. I use the desktop program because of its functionality, but I can't believe the dev actually managed to bring his fucked up sense of style and design to Android. Total Commander has fucking ugly icons, and now you can enjoy similarly disgusting icons on Android as well!
Just tested this theory, moved a file from one directory to another that I did not have write permissions on. It acted like it was copying, and reloaded the folder, but my file was not there, and the original file I tried moving was still in the original directory. Either it's been fixed, or the people who bring this up are liars.
A Windows license does not cost "hundreds" and the file explorer is quite usable; OP is wrong and you've clearly barely touched Windows since you don't realize it.
That being said... Install Gentoo
The "Amaze deletes files..." tale is much like calilng uBlock uHide.
They are trolls who want to make people keep using proprietary, inferior alternatives to great open source programs.
>cli on a fucking phone
got me to reply/10
Even assuming it's being honest about its capabilities, it's "advertising" a new program feature in the most tone-deaf way possible.
calm your moobs, pic related.
of course, the chingchongs first release the spam-version to cause negative news, idiots.
1 mentions ghost commander with samba plugin
Apple Tech support is more competent than this linux circlejerk board. :^)
yep, it was an immediate uninstall when i saw that. too bad, i didn't really use it after the initial use i had for it anyway. hope the dev made the fraction of a cent off of me accidentally clicking the ad tho
Pssst, many Android phones from around 1.5 to 2.1 didn't come with any file explorer. And none of them supported samba.
Picture browser- QuickPic (Before it was bought out)
Camera- Snapdragon Camera
Internet- firefox (only because ublock and sync )
And AFWall+ is practically a necessity
I haven't upgraded it for months this only affects you idiots who enable "always update".
Update only if it fixes a problem you have. if it ain't broke, don't fix it, or in this case, don't upgrade it.
>a program is bad because it has icons I don't like

>File explorer- amaze
>Media player- >VLC

>Picture browser- Old QuickPic (v188.8.131.52) or Stock
>Camera- Google Camera or OpenCamera
I hate to admit it but that's what turned me off from total commander for years, the icons aren't just ignorable bad, they are an eye sore.
Then I found out that you can actually change them, and I've found nirvana.
I just use the one that comes with CM. I think it's just called "file manager". I also never use it. What the fuck are you even doing on your phone?
Why would you update your apps? If it works and does all you need why would you update it if nothing new is out?
