The AP AC Lite is only $80 or so.

It looks a lot better than the Linksys. It's only been up and running for a few hours. The UniFi controller software is pretty awesome though.

Yeah, I've got a Cisco Aironet AP, and use PEAPv1-GTC as the authentication method on my FreeRADIUS server.

Cheap and effective.

I've got a first-gen UniFi AP. It's rock fucking solid and has been for years now. Seriously, ditching a shitty all-in-one wireless router/switch was the best fucking thing I did for my network. The biggest downside is that Ubiquiti is fucking retarded and put a 100mbps port on the original series of APs (I think they fixed that on the AC series) and so I'm stuck with 100mbps 802.11n. The other downside is that the controller is a garbage Java shitfest (which oddly enough I was trying to start when I saw this thread and it WONT FUCKING START FUCK).

At the risk of sounding like a Ubiquiti shill, the Edgerouter X is amazing too, and you don't have to be a CCNA to figure it out since they put in a configuration wizard for SOHO environments. It also isn't controlled through Java, so maybe they learned their goddamn lesson.
