This. More RAM = being able to render bigger projects.

Get a Titan X if you're on a budget, you do not need high FP64 performance for 3D rendering, nor the other fancy features Quadro cards offer. 10-bit display is nice to have, but you need a special monitor to go with it.

A popular way to go is to get a cheap Quadro solely for display output and fill out the rest with Titans for performance. There is zero benefit to having quadros do the rendering vs regular cards.
