How is this even debatable. iPad pro hoses it in performance and it's the only tablet devices which a health ecosystem of optimised software.

But nobody develops for windows anymore apart from spyware developers. iPad is the smart ecosystem to enter. and it rapes the surface in raw performance and actually has a strength of being a good tablet, and not just a half assed combination of a desktop with no apps that have received updates to any recent level of Windows UI guidelines, and a tablet OS with Zero apps period.

I see professionals getting around with their surfaces and using them while standing, and then siting down and going straight into typing on a keyboard. Brilliant, and it's a great concept microsoft was sure on from the beginning. Just nobody gives a shit about Windows anymore is the problem

It's essentially just a bigger, nicer iPad with stylus(pencil) support. Even in lapability something that the Surface has be critiziced over in the past- it does a very poor job. It only has one position.

That sounds like the most entirely useless thing in existence ever. Why on god's green earth would an iPad have to be any bigger than they already are? And even more so, why the fuck do they need stylus support?

iPads are perfect at the size they are. Portable enough to still be tossed in a case, then a reasonable sized bag with other things. Any bigger, and it constitutes it's own pouch/carrying bag/etc, which defeats the purpose of a quick, handy, un-computer-like device.
iPads never needed, nor do I feel they benefit, from stylus support. To the OS, it's literally just another form of touch input, no different than just a really precise finger. It's not like on Windows or OSX where even down to a navigation level, having a Stylus offers you different ways to navigate and manage files, folders, icons, and more, no. iOS and it's UI are designed for fingers and meant to be simple, easy, and un-computer-like. And any software that could benefit from stylus support, is vastly inferior and compromised by being on the iOS platform. No wide-ranging RAW support, so not good for serious photogs. No Slicing/Macros/Advanced photoshop features, so not good for graphic artists. Not enough power or software for serious CAD software, so not good for engineers. The Pencil is completely useless.

And this is coming from someone who has had 4 ipads, has an iPad Air 2 currently, and has a X220t. And there is no way I'm wasting money on an iPad Pro.
