>We compared more detailed email evidence from both companies than had previously been forthcoming from each. We detected strong evidence Purify had doctored its emails, changing the size of the acquisition offer and adding reference to the Acceptable Ads program.
There is precedent here. After all, Chris stole commits from gorhill, was shadowbanned from plebbit for manipulating votes and took credit for Deathamn's work among other behaviors.
So I guess in reality we learned what we already knew. ABP is hell bent on market share, and Chris is an untrustworthy shameless self promoter.
In the back ground remains based gorhill. The man. The legend.
>A company wants to make more money
Holy shit what a shocker!
We didn't exactly need more evidence to know Aljewdi was a fuccboi
Chris here, boy am I getting offers from everywhere! Now those schmucks at Google want my software. Look at this!Dear Chris,
We will give you $100,000,000 for Purify. You code very good.
But I said no way, Jose! I have integrity. I don't do this for the money, I do it to help others.
Don't forget to donate!
Part of the reason why Chris doesn't want to sell is because he doesn't want anyone finding out that Purify is likely using community maintained filter lists like Easylist which requires a license to be granted before you can use it.
That's why Chris likely backpedaled out of making Purify go open source because he is scared of people finding out his shady use of code.
Also, the IRS would likely be interested in a highschool teenager on a student visa and thousands of dollars and unaccounted for donations being given to him without the IRS knowing anything.
The worst thing about Chris is his highschool friends he paid to have them act as his defense force on github.
They barely have any commits on github and all they do is comment every time Chris gets wrecked on github.
